Party

So, as the hedonists it's time to think about the Hedonist Party. I'm thinking play party, since that's about as hedonist as you get, but I'm open to suggestions. So, first off: should we make our party the Wicked Faire Play Party? If not I'm afraid we'll lose a lot of our membership to whoever hosts that. If not, then what shall it be? I leave it up to you wonderful kinksters, imbibers, gastronomers and aesthetes.

Permalink Reply by Criala on June 7, 2008 at 5:11pm: The idea of both is appealing, because the unexperienced and interested (or even those who are just 'curious') could get a bit more information from someone with more experience, and those who are experienced and don't need the info could go to the standard play party.

Then again, those who are interested & unexperienced probably have done a lot of reading and web browsing....

Permalink Reply by Redemptionskiss on June 22, 2008 at 4:00pm: I like the idea of having an " Intro to BDSM/Play Party" in connecting rooms, that way if anyone feels brave or that they are ready to go to a "standard play party" they can just walk through the door into the next or at least if not connecting, have the rooms be across from each other, on the same floor? Makes sense.

I know, I'd also personally be interested in learning about rules regarding : Subs/Doms/Slaves that whole situations. I've had different people tell me different etiquette and for me, being new to all this it gets confusing. Questions like:

1) Is it ever ok to talk to the sub/slave without the master's permission and if so, in what situation ?

2) What are the rules during someone doing a "scene" or "demo" at the play party?

3) Are you allowed to talk during a demo?

4) If you want someone 's dom. to play with your or if you want to play with someone's slave, what is the proper etiquette/approach for that.

I've been on different web sites and based on reading and stuff, I know it varies from play party to play party and person to person, but I'd like to have a learning session , I guess, about general etiquette when it comes to things like that.; ▶ Reply to This

Sir is right. Inexperience is totally fine so long as you're open-minded. Sir hosted a play party a few months ago at the last Wicked and it was the first one I'd ever been to. It was awesome! Haha... it was the most utterly hedonistic, delightful experience. I was a afraid at first but, the truth is that nobody is going to bite -- unless someone asks politely first. So, I say don't be spooked if you're inexperienced. Even if we don't have two separate rooms you don't have to play if you don't want to and I'm sure Sir and everyone else will do their best to make sure everyone is comfortable and has a good time. ^_^; ▶ Reply to This

While checking out, the young man who gave them to me, was asking how my ass felt and my response was, don't feel a thing, but these (lift hair) really hurt! They took 2 weeks to fade away.
