Events in Evil Overlord's room

As with any diabolical plan, the important part is... the planning! I'm thinking that it might be a good idea if we started discussing the schedule of our events. That way we can post it somewhere, so people will know when we plan to kidnap th... hold our events.

What times are other things going on?

What events do we have slated as "happening"?
What is needed for these events?
How much space will be needed?

What events are in the "maybe" pile?
What can we do to make them more of a reality?

What events would we like, but probably just aren't feasible?
What can we do to bring these up into the "maybe" pile?

We're 18 days out, it seems like a lot, but it will go by quickly.

That is a good idea, but pillows seem too... anti-evil. It makes me think of feathers flying around, which makes me think of women in lingerie boucing up and down on beds.


Something that could be used to assault others, but won't mess up outfits and isn't too cute.


Towels? Pillow cases? Ham? Air? Rocks?

I guess it depends on what you're trying to be an Evil Overlord of. Having women in lingerie, bouncing up and down would be good for morale. And please, pay attention to the bouncing boobies, don't worry about what I'm doing over here with this dooms-day device.

I was thinking pillows because everyone with a hotel room has some they can use without having to schlep/plan anything extra). Towels or pillow cases also work for that reason.

But, aynway... If we do a fight, would you guys want it on the schedule at a particular time? Or just ongoing in the room?

Random moments of violence seems like a good idea. Someone just yells "WAR!" and anyone who can grab a pillow or other such object first has the advantage.

Since TNE is noon to about 4am, and I figure most people will be arriving later than 12 noon, and I'm performing 3-4p this is the schedule I propose to start with:

4-6pm: pre-Henchman Championships where Henchmen get to rehearse surreptitiously in corners and/or troll for supporters by kissing babies and campaigning in the room and hallways.

6pm-8pm Henchman Championships
8pm-8:30pm: Whipping Demo
8:30pm-10pm: Assassins
9pm-10pm: Some may reconvene in the room where we're holding The Auction [of pplz]
10pm-11:30pm or later: Evil Overlords rave type party [I'm in discussions with an interesting performer who uses strobe lights etc in his music performance, and I can totally see him DJing and people doing funky things with glowsticks. Someone should bring glowsticks, or glowing things, and sell them. People at raves like to buy glowy things.]

One more thing:

1pm: Organizing and actual useful people: please meet at Evil Overlords room and do whatever you like to make things cool-looking and perhaps plan logistics of events? Definitely put up fortresses and maybe flags with your banner or coat of arms? Annex things! Demarcate territories! Then BUILD.

I will be in dress rehearsal, so I can't help there.

4pm: Late-coming organizational and useful people! Set things up! Be awesome and fearless leaders! Give orders! Execute them too!

We should be there by noon ourselves but with packing space of the small car I doubt we can bring much for decoration of the room. However you forgot to throw in our wild drunken den party which happens every time we're around, but we'll forgive you for that.

We'll help out and do as much as we can around our busy social butterfly, making people drink and otherwise taking over the event as we often to.
