What would be the interested level for a Dark Odyssey/Black Rose style fetish event? What about over Memorial day weekend?

It would be more class and lecture heavy with a few, like about 12-15 fetish oriented, vendors.

To really make it work we'd have to take over a whole wing of the hotel to have enough room for lectures and play space and so we can section our area off and have a private setting. I worked security for Dark Odyssey and we had that set up and it worked reasonably well.

It's in the very earliest planning phases. But right now we're thinking Piscataway NJ.

Any vague idea of date/schedule? ...I know it's still in the early stages, but like summer? winter? spring? fall? Or no idea yet?

We're thinking springish, around Memorial Day, that seems like a good place to start the discussion.

I haven't seen any events, like we're planning here, in the the tri-state area in the spring. The basic idea, if your not familiar with Dark Odyssey, is a weekend long event starting friday night with a meet and beat, classes and lectures saturday and sunday afternoon and a catered fetish ball on saturday evening. There would be space set aside, maybe the banquet hall for a dungeon.

Well, I'D sure as hell be down. Especially if it was priced like a Wicked event and not like Floating World.

We're still working on that. A lot depends on the presenters. Unfortunately it will probably be more than a typical Wicked event to around the lower end of Floating World.

Again, we're still in the earliest of planning stages and trying to guage the interest in this type of event.

Here's whats been kicked around for the Fetish Faire...

As far as admission we're thinking bundling everything together to get the best prices from the hotel, so basically you'll reserve roms and get your tickets all together. Now for the locals there will be arrangements for that as well. Here's what we're thinking so far...

$175 w/o room for the event, day rates under discussion
$100 w 1 night for the event
$50 w 2 nights for the event

These are tentative prices and don't include the hotel because that would have to be negotiated with the hotel

Whats also been talked about is cutting back on some of the lectures and add themed parties.
