What ARE you bringing for sure?

Okay folks, post here what you are definitely bringing to the Hedonist room. If you're not sure what is needed, there is another discussion under our group - go look there!

I am bringing:
24 small star aluminum things for candy
a bag of dark chocolate kisses
a bag of andes mints
runts
bottlecaps (the candy)
some BDSM books
2 pairs of fuzzy handcuffs (the play kind/not the 'real' kind)
fabrics for decorating
8 AAA batteries (backup)
massage lotion
body butter
2 iPod docks (so we can pick the one that goes the loudest, the best for use)
Sign of some sort for kissing booth (but if someone else has done this already, speak up so I can quit stressing about all the things I've committed to doing)
Mirrors - 5
a decorative plug-in light thing (if anyone had oils, it does have a warming cup that you could put scent in - the scent it came with is icky)


*if space still in car; I will bring 3 well loved sofa cushions, 2 large mirrors

I have some purple duct tape, but there's a very small amount of it left. I can go buy more if needed. I also have push pins, but I'm not sure how the walls are, so I don't know if they will work.

Actually, if you would bring the purple duct tape, the Mad Scientists would love it! ...unless you specifically wanted it in the Hedonists room?

NO. We cannot use packing tape or duct tape or anything that will damage the walls!

For heavy things like lights and fabric, your best bet is 3M brand command strips. They support weight and they come off easy without doing any damage. (I used them for everything in my dorms in college, and they really work!)

Who wants to go out and get some of those? As in, a lot, to hang the fabrics...
I'm car-less. My mom's engine light came on so she has to use my car, which is currently in the train station.

They support weight decently well, so the large ones can hang mirrors too.

And, for folks looking, they're sold all over. I've seen them in Home Depot, Lowes, Bed & Bath, Target, Michaels, and small art supply stores -- to name a few.

We have some that might be available to use, but we'll need a bunch for decorating downstairs too, so I'm not sure what we can guarantee.

My ride is coming up Friday evening, and therefore I'll be there Friday to do set up. Not going to be able to get the command strips though. Am also car less.
