I thought it's because he's performing as Captain Kinetic, rather than The Velocitators, officially. (Also, Velocity was changed to Kinetic. ...unless it shouldn't've been? in which case it can be changed back.)

it was supposed to be the velocitators, always. he is playing with the whole group. as a favor to jeff, as an individual he logged onto ning as captain kinetic. where the captain velocity came from is unclear. jeff is making a joke that it was a miscommunication.

for future reference, captain velocity doesnt exist in any way. the velocitators are the full band. there is a possibility that when he performs alone he will perform under a different name which hasn't been fully decided upon, but is currently captain kinetic. and the full band, the velocitators, are playing at this event.

there might be unofficial signs posted explaining this confusion at the event itself.

the velocitators have asked the tribes if they would be welcome to play in the rooms. if we get a response i will post it.

unfortunately, it can't be changed officially, because the schedule is printed, and the webmaster for wicked appears to be unresponsive.

Actually, the reason I'm asking is that I am the one getting the list of required changes together so we can have an updated/corrected schedule at the event. So, yes, it can.
