What about a "fire-side" ghost story telling circle?
If it's at a particular time, you can turn the lights-out, pass around a flashlight, and take turns telling scary stories.

I love this Idea! you could always leave the option to tell popular stories, like having the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark collection, people could read them if they didn't have their own. They could paraphrase short stories from Skeleton Crew or something. Or one person could start the story, pass to the next they continue it. You would have to limit the time/how many people the light could be passed to, but it always turns into something interesting.
